Bugs love me.  All of em.  Mosquitos, no-see-ums, spiders, you name it.  I can’t help it, I’m delicious.  We carry a ton of bug repellent with us when we’re out and about (Bug soother is my favorite b/c no deet), but we use a thermacell on the boat.

Placed in the cockpit a bit before sundown (to keep em out before they start coming out to feed at dusk) and we can enjoy a bug free evening outside.   We have both the rechargeable type, and the fuel type, but mainly use the fuel one because you can get multi insect repellant.  The rechargeable is just mosquitos.
