Tricked you. I’m not even going to touch the subject of guns on board. What I will talk about is ammo cans. They are relatively small, water proof, stackable, and have handles. Basically, they’re the perfect small item storage solution for your boat/rv/tinyhouse. We have about a half a dozen of them on Twig. Our primary usage is to store small boat parts and tools, but it doesn’t have to stop there. Most of our six are stacked in a cockpit locker with labels on the front, making for easy identification.
Here are some of the cans we have:
- Drill bits (5-6 small dewalt storage cases fit perfectly inside)
- Electrical parts
- Small boat parts
Other ideas:
- Lego sets
- screws/bolts
- Device electrical cords
- First aid
- Medicine
- Toiletries
- Ditch bin
- ….
Ultimately, your creativity is the only limiting factor for storing small objects.
I guess if you DO have a gun on board, you could use them for ammo too.
