One of the most useful galley gadgets that we have on Twig is our mini waffle maker.  I should actually say “are our waffle makers”, because we have two.  These little beauties are not only under $20, but make a perfect 4 inch waffle.   Why is 4 inches important?  That’s the same size as those prepackaged frozen waffles that you buy in the freezer section.  If you’re following me, you just realized that you can make extra and freeze them for an easy kid breakfast….  If you had extra freezer space….  Which you don’t.  But pretend with me.  Or buy a dometic.

But wait!  You’re probably chastising me right now for recommending a single use appliance on a boat, where storage is precious.   Not so.  Introducing the chaffle!  With the mini waffle maker, you can also cook up some mess free eggs with easy breezy clean up.
